Officer Robert Gara was doing his routine checks of the local drinking establishments in the area when he noticed a driver failing to stop at an intersection and heading for him. The impact caused the other car to spin out and strike a pole, and Gara’s patrol car’s steering column to break off from its brackets. Gara was transported to the hospital, and his attending doctor, who also happened to be his family doctor treated him for bruises, neck and back injuries, and assured Gara the only thing that saved his ribs was his Second Chance® vest.
We welcome Officer Robert Gara, SAVE #138, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
