Officer Dobro was involved in an automobile accident while responding to an asistance call from a fellow officer. He was involved in an accident with another officer who was also responding to the call. Officer Dobro’s vehicle ended up slamming broadside on the driver’s side into a large tree. Although he was seriously injured in the accident, most of the chest trama was absorbed by the vest he was wearing at the time of the accident.
