Officer Thomas and his K-9, Zeus, responded to a burglary on a business. Upon arrival, Zeus alerted Officer Thomas on a closed door. Officer Thomas had to reach around boxes to open the door and as he opened the door, two rounds were fired through the door striking Officer Thomas in the pinky and upper right abdomen.
