Less than three months after opening a Christmas present, a Second Chance® Model Y vest, from his wife, Officer Clark cashed in on his “gift of life”. While on patrol, with his partner, Clark was flagged down by a local bar owner to a stop a fight involving fifteen to twenty patrons. The patrons attempted to block the officers and the suspect-instigator. After the scuffle, Clark found the back of his shirt slashed open. The cotton cover of his vest had also been slashed but the blow from the unknown knife-crazy assailant barely marked the first layer of the ballistic pad.
