Lieutenant White was shot three times in the abdomen, the right leg and the left leg. During a bank robbery investigation, he followed a lead and found the suspect and an accomplice in Jackpot, NV in a hotel. The suspect burst out of the hotel room, shooting Lieutenant White as he ran.
