Caesar and his partner thwarted an attempted rape but were met with unexpected surprises. Caesar’s partner was knocked out and was about to be shot with his own weapon when Caesar happened to come to the scene. The assailant turned the police weapon on Caesar and fired a .38 R-P 125g HP slug. The bullet hit Caesar’s Second Chance® vest on an angle such that it would have hit his spleen and spine. Falling, Caesar returned fire killing his attacker and saving his partner the embarrassment of having to explain how a policeman would have been shot with his own weapon.
