Officers initiated a traffic stop, the assailant exited the drivers seat and opened fire, 1 7.62X25 round striking Officer Broder in the chest which was stopped by his SCA Summit IIIA. Officers returned fire and the suspect fled. A barricaded armed suspect situation ensued and the assailant exited the residence with an AK47 firing on SWAT. SWAT returned fire killing the assailant.
