It took the Tahoe City Fire Department thirty minutes to cut Officer Reyman from the twisted wreckage that once was his police unit. The only salvageable items from his care were a red bubble light, side view mirror and two rear tires. The physicians, who worked on Reyman, were amazed that he did not receive severe internal injuries from the accident. They attributed this to the Second Chance® vest he was wearing at the time of the accident.
