Sgt. Bartley responded to a complaint of domestic at 11:33 PM abuse and upon his arrival the male suspect opened fire striking him in the side of his armor and in the center officers Bartley’s chest. His ABA XHP IIIA stopped the round and Sgt. Bartley returned fire wounding his assailant and taking him into custody
