Officer William Ferrel

Fort Myers Police Department Fort Myers FL Saves Club

While on a routine patrol on an early July morning, Patrolman Ferrel was called to a male subject acting in a suspicious manner. Enroute to the scene, a vehicle crossed the center line and struck Ferrel’s patrol car head -on. Both vehicles were a total loss along with three injuries. Ferrel received head, chest, face and leg injuries and was transported to a local Fort Myers hospital. According to the doctor along with several other officers and paramedics, it was Ferrel’s Second Chance® vest that saved him from a certain fatality.

We welcome Officer William Ferrel, SAVE #181, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
