Sometimes its helpful to get ready for work before you get there. Officer Swanson was in his “76 Nova on the way to pick up his partner for work, and was in full uniform, including his Second Chance® vest. As he entered an intersection, a Cadillac, approaching in the opposite direction attempted to beat Swanson’s car making a left turn in front of him. The Cadillac’s left front corner smashed into the driver’s side. According to his attending doctor, Swanson prevented more serious injury by wearing his vest at the time of his accident.
