Officer Sisk’s one-stop-shopping-stop at one o’clock in the morning last May was more than he “bargained” for. While making a routine security check at a local K-Mart Store, Sisk encountered two juveniles. The ambush style meeting in the store’s garden center was more of a surprise to Sisk than his assailants. Before he could counter attack, three slugs from a .25 pushed hot lead into the back panel of Sisk’s Second Chance® vest. Chief Hahn wrote, “Thanks to the Second Chance® body armor, Sgt. Sisk was not injured.”
