On April 2, 2006 Kyle Wheeler was working for a private security rm when he began a foot chase of two suspicious individuals. As he caught up to them and cornered them against a chain link fence, one of the suspects pulled a gun. Kyle and the suspect struggled over the gun and it red. Kyle was struck in the chest by a .40 caliber round which was stopped by his Second Chance® Monarch® armor.
Thanks to his Second Chance armor, Kyle was able to pursue a career in law enforcement and is now a Sergeant assigned to the Mounted Division with the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Department.
We welcome Sgt. Kyle Wheeler , Save #1887, to the Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
