Officer Forrest Taylor

Alameda Police Department Alameda CA Saves Club

The patrol car Officer Taylor was driving on a response to a call that was broadcasted by another vehicle running a stop sign. Taylor was pushed diagonally across the intersection, through a wooden fence and into a yard against a child’s swing set. Besides the the neck and back injuries, there was a 14″ bruise in the center of his chest where he hit the steering column, radio rack and shotgun mount. The supporting brackets broke off exposing jagged ends that tore into Taylor’s shirt, but not the Second Chance® vest he was wearing.

We welcome Officer Forrest Taylor, SAVE #195, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
