On November 10, 1974, Officer Stevens responded to a report of a broken window in the back of a local doctor’s office. On arrival, Stevens surprised the burglar. The subject fired three rounds of .380 at the officer. One slug hit Stevens in the back and the other two were recovered in the officer’s patrol car. EMS technicians found no serious injuries to the officer because of the (Second Chance®) protective vest he was wearing.
We welcome Officer Larry Stevens, SAVE #20, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
