On March 21, 2019 officers were in the process of executing a search warrant. A small metal object was discovered, and Officer Graham was called over to investigate. One of the officers placed the object in Officer Graham’s palm and it discharged a .22 LR round directly into Officer Graham’s abdomen from a distance of just two inches.
Officer Graham’s Safariland® Xtreme® XT03 IIIA armor stopped the .22 LR round. Officer Graham was treated for minor abrasions and released.
