Officer Curnarski wrote that he had, “for the past four years….taken your (Second Chance®) vest for granted. That all changed on May 8, 1981 at 8:50 p.m.” While speeding in response to a request for assistance, an oncoming vehicle crossed Curnarski’s lane causing a broadside collision. Both cars were totaled with bumps, bruises and stitches sustained by individuals in the vehicles. Curnarski didn’t realize the value of his vest until he got out of the hospital and viewed his care back at the station.
We welcome Officer Joe Curnarski, SAVE #233, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
