Deputy Lincoln’s patrol car was parked along the side of the highway in an attempt to assist a stranded motorist. Before Lincoln could exit his car, another vehicle, with a drunk driver at the wheel, plowed into Lincoln’s car, pushing it into the motorist’s car he stopped to help. Lincoln’s body collapsed the steering wheel before he collapsed the windshield. Troopers on the scene and hospital staff agreed that Lincoln’s Second Chance® armor kept the DUI driver from a manslaughter charge as well.
We welcome Deputy David Lincoln, SAVE #235, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
