On September 12, 1981 Officer Richard Reese just so happened to be in the same vehicle as the aforementioned Officer William Traine (SAVE 241). The story is the same for Reese, luckily with the same outcome. Sustaining just a bruised kidney and some minor bumps and cuts, the ER doctor was amazed that Reese suffered no other major injuries due to the severity of the accident. He concluded that Reese would have had the same fate as Traine had it not been for his Second Chance® vest.
We welcome Officer Richard Reese, SAVE #242, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
