Sergeant Ropp was transporting a prisoner to another detention facility when an oncoming car crossed into the path of his patrol unit. A severe concussion, facial laceration, fractures to his legs, hips and pelvis put Ropp in ICU for a week. Attending physicians of Starke Memorial Hospital emergency room stated “had Sgt. Ropp not been wearing his Second Chance® body armor his injuries could have been fatal.”
We welcome Sergeant Curtis Ropp, SAVE #245, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
