Doctor Adams” report to Sheriff Somers regarding what might have happened to Deputy Meyers had he not been wearing his Second Chance® vest left little to the imagination. Meyers was involved in a head-on collision when the other driver failed to yield the right of way. Meyers” chest made the steering wheel part of the dashboard. The “frail chest” injury could have been fatal had it not been for his Second Chance® armor.
