On an early morning “burglary in progress” call, Corporal Ron Fewell was travelling at a high rate of speed through a business district and failed to negotiate an “S” turn. Fewell’s patrol car struck the side of a building and went through the wall. Fewell received several lacerations to his face and a broken nose. At the time of the accident Fewell was wearing a Second Chance Model® Y bullet-proof vest. The vest took all of the impact of the steering wheel hitting Fewell’s chest, saving him from major injury.
We welcome Corporal Ron Fewell, SAVE #264, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
