Officer Crafton was pursuing another driver who was driving in a reckless manner when another car ran a stop sign and struck the police unit. Crafton sustained severe injuries and was extracted from his vehicle by complete immobilization of the affected area. The steering wheel was completely concave from the impact of his chest. Seashore Medical doctor Renza stated, “It is my opinion that your “Second Chance®” vest gave my patient a second chance in life because of the injuries that he escaped as a result of the accident.”
