Officer Parish was responding to an armed robbery in progress call. Another car had pulled into an intersection ahead of Parish, noticed the oncoming police unit, and froze. With a median on the left and cars to the right, there was nothing but 177-feet of skid marks and destruction ahead. Parish made an instant compact out of his Impala. The engine broke free from its mounts and pushed the firewall, dashboard and steering assembly into Parish’s lap and chest. Dr. Jewett, attending physician, noted that Parish was “indeed fortunate to have been wearing his Second Chance® vest…”
We welcome Officer James Parish, SAVE #280, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
