Officer Hodgson pulled a car over for a routine traffic check. Two men exited the stopped car and began to struggle with the officer. One assailant tore Hodgson’s .357 from his holster and quickly pumped two .38+P slugs into his back, protected by his “second hand” Second Chance® vest. As the assailants fled, Hodgson ran back to his unit, extracted his 12ga. and fired at the retreating vehicle. Hodgson received his own brand new vest two weeks after the report of this attack.
We welcome Officer Arnold Hodgson, SAVE #285, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
