Besides being employed as a law officer with Oreana PD, Matthew Doris also works plain clothes in a local grocery chain store. One night on the security job, Doris saw a suspect place food parcels in his clothes and pay for only the items he was carrying in hand. The suspect was stopped before leaving the store by Doris. The suspect put down the grocery items and went into a “Kung-fu” stance. Slaps, kicks and blows were exchanged before Doris was kicked through a plate glass window. His Second Chance® vest stopped the jagged glass from penetrating his body.
