While patrolling on his motorcycle as a State Park Ranger, Officer Alexander observed some illegal riding activity by other cyclists. In pursuit a bolt holding the front forks of his cycle sheared off resulting in total loss of control. As he went down he “felt a tremendous impact as the motorcycle handlebars slammed directly into his chest.” After he came to, he radioed for help and was transported to the hospital. He received a severely fractured right clavicle, minor head injuries and bruising on the right side of his chest. But there were no organ trauma or chest wall fractures because of his Second Chance® vest.
We welcome Officer Stuart Alexander, SAVE #295, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
