Officer Flaherty did not have “a black and blue mark on his chest” after being thrown from a patrol car traveling 80 MPH. While pursuing a speeding driver, the patrol car hit a short brick wall, causing the accident. Flaherty only had a few glass slivers in his hand and wrist, and was saved from further injury due to his Second Chance® vest that absorbed the brunt of the pressure from the crash.
We welcome Officer William Flaherty, SAVE #31, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
