Deputy Messamore did a nasty number on his patrol car during a high speed chase. After taking out fifteen fence posts along the highway, Messamore careened off a power line pole, flipped the car “at least once” and came to rest in a field. Messamore sustained four cracked ribs in the upper left torso, a bruised left lung and a concussion. He was wearing his seat belt and Second Chance® Model Y vest at the time of the accident. According to his attending physician, “I should (also) note that Mr. Messamore’s bulletproof vest may well have saved further injury from penetrating trauma.
We welcome Deputy Jerry Messamore, SAVE #311, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
