Ten day after their wedding, Sheri Pastula had to look at the mangled and bloody face of her husband, Officer Robert Pastula. Pastula was on patrol approaching a stretch of local bars when another vehicle pulled out in front of him, striking him head-on. Pastula’s upper body struck the steering column causing moderate facial injuries. While facial blood covered the uniform and ballistic armor, only minor rib bruises were found due to the Second Chance® armor he wore.
