Admitting to wearing his vest “only about 80% of the time”, Officer Bill Fisher was relieved May 17, 1975 happened to be one of those days. Fisher and several other officers were called to a fight at a local high school. While trying to break up the fight, one of the youths went at Fisher with a 12-inch “Cake Cutter Comb”. The teeth on the comb tore his shirt but did not penetrate his Second Chance® vest. After the incident Fisher promised to wear his vest “100% of the time”.
We welcome Officer Bill Fisher, SAVE #33, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
