Officer Contois” cruiser was in pursuit of a “deranged” subject when the subject’s vehicle made an about face and came back at Contois” car, striking it head-on. Contois” steering column and dashboard smashed into him, causing neck and shoulder injuries. However, his Second Chance® armor protected him from major chest injuries.
