Officer Kline was in pursuit of a vehicle and followed the speeding car into a corn field. About a quarter-mile into the field, Kline bottomed out while sliding into a washed out ravine. While the vehicle being chased made good on his escape, Kline was being placed into a back board and cervical neck brace for his injuries. There were no chest or rib injuries, according to Dr. Kelley, Orthopaedic surgeon caring for Kline. This lack of injury was attributed to the Second Chance® armor he was wearing at the time of the chase.
We welcome Officer Wes Kline, SAVE #335, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
