Officer Hamrick was policing a traffic accident when struck by a passing car. He skidded and rolled, approximately 75-feet across asphalt, over a curb and coming to a rest against a fireplug after being hit. His Second Chance® Model X concealable armor was shredded in the process but kept his upper body from receiving any injuries.
