Sgt. Hackett was a police officer for more than 5 years, and had worn his (Second Chance®) vest from “day one.” Shortly after his 5th anniversary as a lawman, Hackett was hit head-on by a drunk driver doing 100+ MPH. Hackett’s K-55 radar unit verified the speed. Hackett’s doctor also verified the use of his body armor saved his patient from crippling injury “especially with chest injury.”
We welcome Sergeant Donald Hackett, SAVE #357, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
