The blood-alcohol content of the driver who struck Deputy Wayne Fox was more than twice the legal limit. The driver had been following the white line down the center of the highway, unfortunately is was in the westbound lane and he was eastbound. Fox’s unit was more than totaled…it was demolished. Thankfully, this was not true for Fox. Although he was thrown around inside his unit there were no injuries in areas covered by his Second Chance® body armor.
