Officer Cole was on patrol when he noticed two suspicious vehicles parked outside a residential construction site. As he entered the front door of the house five shots rang out at Cole. Four of the five, believed to be from a small caliber handgun, possibly a .22, hit Cole in the chest, the fifth in his leg. Cole dropped to the floor and was able to return fire at his assailants. Thanks to his Second Chance® Model Y armor he was wearing that morning, Plano TX had its second “second chance” within a year.
