While Officer Dinsmore was arresting a DWI suspect on the highway, another drunk driver slammed into him. Dinsmore’s body took a long time to heal, but thanks to his Second Chance® vest he received only a bruised kidney. Outside his protective vest the injuries Dinsmore sustained did not allow him to return to duty in active law enforcement officer.
