Officer Conley was on a flashing lights, siren, officer-needs-assistance call doing 50-55 MPH. As he was passing another vehicle, the second car began an improper left turn into Conley’s vehicle. The collision forced Conley into a tree at that rate of speed. The car immediately became half its original size and Conley’s Second Chance® vest-protected chest mushroomed the steering wheel in the patrol car.
