Officer Palmer’s first “SAVE” with Second Chance®, came in “76 with a 4-year old ballistic nylon unit. Palmer’s second “SAVE” was 2-years later in a Kevlar layered vest qualifying him for the IACP Survivors Club, where we found him. Both incidents involved being tossed around inside his patrol units in one-car accidents. The second incident, an eight-inch reinforced pipe embedded in concrete, instantaneously stopped his patrol car, forcing his torso to collapse the steering column while poking a hole in his windshield with his head. Palmer states he sustained no “injury pain or trauma to the chest area.”
We welcome Officer Glenn Palmer, SAVE #379, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
