Officer Hageman had responded to a call at a local convenience store and was talking with the owner when a 16-year old driver, in the store parking lot, thinking the car was in reverse instead of drive, stepped on the accelerator and drove through the front doors of the store. Hageman and a customer were hit by the car and the shards of glass filling the air. Hageman was taken to the hospital by ambulance where doctors credit his (Second Chance®) vest with preventing critical, possibly mortal injury from the incident.
We welcome Officer Richard Hageman, SAVE #380, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
