Trooper Pierce was involved in an accident and was thrown off his motorcycle at approximately 55 MPH. His helmet and uniform were ruined in the mishap but, states Pierce’s attending physician, “his (Second Chance®) body jacket…prevented injuries to his chest region such as costocartilage separation or fractured ribs.”
