Game protector Dave Wilson was investigating a report of raccoon hunters in a remote wooded are about 2 a.m. As he approached two hunters with their dogs, he identified himself and was shot three times by a third “hunter” hidden in the dark. Two .22 rounds passed through his arm inflicting minor damage but a third round hit him in his midsection stopping in his concealed Second Chance® armor. Wilson returned fire at his assailants as they escaped in the woods.
