Officer Pizzo and his partner responded to an “unknown disturbance” call at a local residence. As Pizzo entered the house a man lunged at him with a barbecue fork, striking Pizzo in the chest. the fork was deflected by the Second Chance® armor he was wearing. A torn shirt and a small bruise on his chest were the only damage.
