While attempting to arrest a man who was seeking retribution for a previous night’s incarceration, Officer Slater was shoved through a plate glass window at a gas station. The man doing the shoving was disemboweled but the Second Chance® soft armor Slater was wearing saved him from the same fate, all he had to show for the clash was a shredded uniform shirt punctured by the shards of glass from the broken window.
