Constable Fontaine was entering an intersection when another car ran a red light and became compacted by Fontaine’s cruiser. Dr. Dedumets, from the Hotel Dieu Hospital, commented that if it were not for the (Second Chance®) “soft body armor (Fontaine) could have been seriously injured.”
