While on patrol, another vehicle crossed over into Officer Stanley’s path and hit him head-on. Stanley’s chest, protected by his Second Chance® armor, struck the steering post and he was pinned in the vehicle for a lengthy time. Dr. Wade stated, “his vest protected him from serious injury or death in this case.”
