Spetzman was responding to an emergency call with his siren and flashers going full tilt. A vehicle pulled out from a side street into Spetzman’s path. Both cars were totaled and both drivers had to be pryed from their vehicles. ER doctor credits the Second Chance® armor Spetzman was wearing to the trauma Spetzman received to his chest when impacting the steering wheel.
