Officer Adair was skeptical about purchasing his armor. Not sure if it would be worth the money, he decided to make the investment, which ended up saving his life. During a routine traffic stop, Adair was called to assist his superior with a possible hit skip (stolen car). When Adair approached a stoplight, his brakes failed causing him to collide with a stanchion, head on between 35-50 MPH. The force of the impact broke the steering mount and engine right off their base, and caused substantial injury to Adair’s face, legs and arms, but he was free from any chest injury, or pain due to his Second Chance® vest.
We welcome Officer Robert Adair, SAVE #42, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
