Deputy Hardman was enroute to the scene of an accident when he encountered his own. Another vehicle, traveling between 65-70 MPH in oncoming traffic, swerved into Hardman’s lane causing a severe head-on collision. Hardman’s Second Chance® armor caught the full force of the steering column impact, allowing him to escape from any major chest injuries, and saving his life.
